Community College Offers Online Course for Tax Preparers

BOSTON, Dec. 9, 2011 -- BHCC's Office of Community Education has partnered with the Pacific Northwest Tax School (PNWTS) to offer an online class titled "The Basic Tax Course."
The course will address the new Internal Revenue Service testing requirements for tax preparers The exam is expected to affect 300,000 to 500,000 existing tax preparers nationwide who must pass the new IRS exam by the end of 2013 or be forced to leave the industry. The IRS test is scheduled to be rolled out this spring.
